Apertus Apprentice Achieves Impressive Award
An apprentice at Apertus Group has won the Apprentice of the Year Award. This award was given at the Northamptonshire Business Excellence Awards, which comedian Alex Horne hosted.
Apprentice of the Year Award
At Apertus Group, Maddie Humphrey is currently doing her Level 3 Apprenticeship in Business Administration. She won an award for being very dedicated and knowledgeable. The judging panel praised her for having a positive impact on her business and industry. The panel included ex-Apprentice celebrity Nick Hewer.
Maddie said: “The award win has given me a confidence boost! It can be hard to realise when you’re doing well at something, especially when you’re caught up in the day-to-day, so it has given me an opportunity to celebrate my achievements. All Things Business did an amazing job producing the event and I had a wonderful time!”
Apertus Group Business Success
Maddie hosts a YouTube series called ‘In the Driver’s Seat with Maddie’. It is produced by Apertus Group. In this series, she discusses cars and driving with businesspeople.
Another segment of her training involved her contributing to a long-term project for the Apertus Group. She has created a new method for the business to handle damage on leased vehicles. This change has cut liability for Apertus Group by 45% already.
Apertus Group Managing Director Grant McKenna said: “Seeing someone who you saw huge potential in be recognised by others is a beautiful thing. Maddie, enjoy every message, moment and memory, you deserve every single one of them!”
Maddie joined the Apertus Group team in September 2023 after finishing her A-Levels at Wootton Park School. She studied Business, Psychology and Geography there.
More than 500 people attended the Northamptonshire Business Excellence Awards. They all gathered to celebrate the county’s business community and their achievements. Learn more about the 2024 NBEAs.
